Are the units customisable?
Absolutely. Our units are fully customisable. Choose from a range of wall, floor and cabinet options to suit your individual style and taste. Modify the layout by repositioning windows and doors and adding extra storage options. While most customisations are free of charge, others may incur a fee.
What is the lead time?
Approximately 16 weeks depending on customisations.
Do Irish Home Solutions deliver and install?
Yes! Delivery is included in the price. Additional charges may apply for install depending on the unit size, site location, and site access available.
Do I need planning permission?
Under the proposed 2026 Irish planning reforms, many structures including homes or studios up to 45m² may no longer require planning. Always check with your local council, as requirements can vary. Irish Home Solutions cannot accept liability for units installed without the required approvals.
Can I prepare for the install myself to save time and money?
Absolutely. A flat concrete slab or piers/footings is the recommended base for installation. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure this surface is level and ready for install.
Do you connect water, power, and sewage?
Water, power, and sewage connections are subject to site conditions.
I want to install my new home behind an existing dwelling. Is this possible?
Yes. In most cases, this type of installation will require a crane which will incur an additional cost.
